Lirelle captures your microphone and the system audio at the same time. Zoom, Meet, Telegram — whatever plays through your Mac ends up in the recording. When you stop, you get a transcript that shows what you said and what the other side said.

Nobody sees a "third participant." Recording happens on your Mac, not through a bot that joins the meeting.

A recording capsule above all windows. The stripe reacts to voice; one button stops it. You always see the recording is on, even over Zoom.

The transcript is a plain file on disk. Markdown with timestamps, opens from the app or in Finder. Nothing to export from someone else's cloud — it's already yours.

Questions before you install

Which Macs does Lirelle run on?

Apple Silicon (M-series) and Intel. On Apple Silicon recognition runs through MLX and is noticeably faster; Intel Macs use whisper.cpp.

Which languages does it understand?

Recognition is built on Whisper: Russian, English and about 90 more languages. The language is detected automatically — nothing to switch.

What goes to the internet at all?

In Cloud dictation mode — a short audio clip (transcribed and immediately discarded, no retention, no training). In Local Mode — none of your audio ever. Meetings — always processed on your Mac. The AI polish button in Plus sends the finished text (never audio), and you don't have to press it.

Why does macOS ask for several permissions?

Microphone — to hear you. Accessibility and Input Monitoring — to catch the ⌥ hotkey and paste text into the active field. Screen Recording — that's how macOS exposes system audio for meeting recording. On first launch Lirelle walks you through each step.

macOS warns about an unidentified developer. Is that normal?

Yes: the Apple Developer signature is being processed right now. For now — right-click the app → "Open", once. After that macOS launches Lirelle normally.

Is recording meetings legal?

Lirelle is a tool, like a voice recorder: the recording stays only with you. Whether you must inform participants depends on your local law and company policy; for work calls, saying so at the start of the meeting is usually enough.

How do I pay, and what happens when the term ends?

Checkout runs through Robokassa and is currently charged in Russian rubles — USD prices are approximate, and cards issued outside Russia may not work yet (international checkout is coming). The subscription auto-renews; you can switch auto-renewal off in one click in your account. If you don't renew, the app simply falls back to Free — nothing is lost.
